Simple wireless room solutions such as DEOS TEO help to fulfil the new requirements quickly and economically. End customers are impressed by the quick installation, simple operation and integration into existing automation solutions.

The difference
Simple, fast and economical solutions are in demand today, such as the DEOS room solution centred around the battery-free LoRaWAN wireless thermostat DEOS TEO. This makes it easy for building owners to achieve the required building automation efficiency class B (DIN V 18599).

The preconfigured digital thermostats effortlessly replace the old rotary thermostats. DEOS TEO can be installed and commissioned in just two minutes. The replacement is stress-free and can be carried out while the building is in use, for example during school breaks or over the weekend. From then on, up to 40% heating energy is demonstrably saved in the room.

The highlight
With the battery-free LoRaWAN heating thermostat, no more forgetting to turn down the heating temperature in the evening, at the weekend or on holiday. From then on, the heating temperatures are controlled centrally and automatically according to set calendar/usage times - throughout the building, per floor or individually per room/zone. The patented built-in thermogenerator also eliminates the need for an expensive annual battery replacement service. Compared to other protocols such as EnOcean, LoRaWAN is characterised by a higher level of security (e.g. end-to-end encryption using a 128-bit AES key)

The Franziskus Hospital in Münster demonstrably saves 34% and the city of Germersheim also has a demonstrable savings effect of 30%. In addition to IKEA and other commercial enterprises, the cities of Ulm, Geldern, Essen and Wadgassen are also successfully using the DEOS TEO solution.
