A strong turnout of trade visitors from across the ASEAN region has confirmed Meat Pro Asia as an essential new addition to the meat and food processing and packaging event calendar. Despite being a new player in the industry, the fair was lauded for attracting top-quality participants, with exhibitors in particular noting the high calibre of buyers and the clear potential for the fair to grow at future editions. Closing its doors on 10 March, the three days fair drew 8,894 visitors from 89 countries worldwide to source from over 100 exhibitors. Taking place in co-location with VIV Asia, the most influential event for feed to food in the region, the two fairs drew a combined total of 47,527 visitors.

Messe Frankfurt and VNU Group join forces around a new meat and food processing trade show for the Asian market in March 2023

In a strategic expansion into the growing food technology sector, Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and VNU Group, have announced a partnership to jointly organise ‘Meat Pro Asia’, a new trade show dedicated to meat and food processing and catering to the Asian market. The show will take place on a biennial basis in co-location with VIV Asia – the no.1 international trade show from Feed to Food in Asia. Leading suppliers of textile-care technology cancel their participation – Texcare International will not take place in 2021

Leading suppliers of laundry and dry-cleaning technology have used the free cancellation deadline offered by Messe Frankfurt against the background of the pandemic and cancelled their participation in Texcare International 2021 shortly before expiry. In view of this the Advisory Council of the world’s leading textile-care fair have voted to cancel Texcare International for this year because its success can no longer be guaranteed.
