Newton Energy Solutions wants to accelerate the energy transition and keep it affordable for everyone. With that in mind we develop high the NEStore thermal batterie that stores sustainable electricity (almost) loss-free in high-temperature process water.

With patented vacuum insulation, the NEStore achieves an ultra-low energy loss of about 1% per day (compared to 20-30% per day for standard buffer tanks). This low energy loss is the foundation for a large storage capacity (storage temperature up to 110℃) and long availability of sustainable (solar) energy (>two weeks of usable energy for hot water or space heating).

Newton Energy Solutions is a spin-off of the Dutch TNO that, in collaboration with König Metall, laid the foundation for the NEStore. Since 2023. The initial organizations remain closely involved with Newton Energy Solutions.
