Smart Home with FRITZ!
Smart Home, when the technology behind it is done right, makes life easier. Studies show that four aspects are particularly important to users: The products must be easy to use and safe. They should also increase convenience and be energy efficient, keeping electricity costs down. The FRITZ! products from AVM are designed with precisely these needs in mind:
Heating control with FRITZ!DECT 302
Connected to a FRITZ!Box, the FRITZ!DECT 302 automatically and precisely regulates the room temperature. This allows users to conveniently heat their home and according to their individual needs, saving energy and heating costs. Like the FRITZ!DECT 301, the new FRITZ!DECT 302 can be conveniently controlled via smart switch, smartphone, tablet, laptop or FRITZ!Fon – as well as directly on the device. The intelligent radiator control in the new design has an easy-to-read e-paper display with a menu and four function keys. The extended energy concept, complete with with a new chip, ensures a long battery life across several heating seasons. The FRITZ!DECT 302 uses the energy-saving DECT ULE radio standard and can be installed on all standard radiator valves. Regular free updates provide new features.
Lighting control with FRITZ!DECT 500
Together with the new FRITZ!DECT 500 LED bulb, the FRITZ!Box becomes an intelligent lighting system. The FRITZ!DECT 500 is an LED bulb with smart lighting control for white and color light. Using Smart Home DECT ULE technology, it can easily be integrated into the FRITZ! home network at the touch of a button. The new bulb provides lighting for any situation, thanks to the adjustable dimmer. FRITZ!DECT 500 can be controlled in a number of ways, such as the FRITZ!Box user interface or the smart button from FRITZ!. The new LED bulb is suitable for use with the widely used E27 screw base fitting.
Measure energy use with FRITZ!DECT 200 & 210
With the FRITZ!DECT 200 and 210 smart plugs, connected devices can be switched on/off automatically or manually. At the same time the energy consumption of the devices is measured. The smart plugs allow users to set individual schedules, and they also receive free updates with new features. Thanks to IP44 splash protection and an extended temperature range of between -20° and +40° C, FRITZ!DECT 210 is extremely robust and is especially suited to outdoor use.
FRITZ!DECT 440
Another Smart Home highlight is the FRITZ!DECT 440 four-way switch with an e-paper display. It can be used to turn different FRITZ! Smart Home devices on and off, individually or in groups, and activate templates. The FRITZ!DECT 440 can be connected via DECT ULE technology to any FRITZ!Box with a DECT base station. With the FRITZ!DECT 440 several FRITZ! Smart Home products assigned to a room can be quickly and conveniently switched on/off and managed. Those products include the FRITZ!DECT 200 and FRITZ!DECT 210 smart plugs, the FRITZ!DECT 301 radiator control and the new FRITZ!DECT 500 LED light. The light can also be dimmed with the new smart switch. Thanks to the built-in temperature sensor, FRITZ! DECT 440 measures the ambient temperature and can be used as an external temperature sensor for the radiator control from FRITZ!. With four configurable buttons to operate FRITZ! products, the FRITZ!DECT 440 is the ideal remote control for the Smart Home network. Selected Smart Home devices can be set up over the FRITZ!Box user interface and assigned to one of the buttons. The ergonomic smart switch ensures convenient and intuitive operation and can be placed anywhere thanks to the magnetic wall mount.
FRITZ!DECT 350
The compact magnetic door/window contact FRITZ!DECT 350 can be attached to doors or windows and immediately detects whether they're open or closed. The sensor is perfectly matched to the FRITZ! home network and, together with the FRITZ!DECT 302 and 301 smart radiator controls, can help save heating energy – which is good news for the environment and users' wallets. Scenes such as "If window open, then turn down the heating" are super easy to set up. All FRITZ! Smart Home and compatible Zigbee devices can also be controlled with the FRITZ!DECT 350, allowing users to configure many more scenes and routines. For additional security, the status of the sensor, for instance, open/closed windows, can be checked in the FRITZ!App Smart Home, on the FRITZ!Fon and in FRITZ!OS. The FRITZ!DECT 350 is so small that it can mounted using the adhesive strip included in the package so that it is hidden between the window frame and the sash in many windows with Eurofold.
