A significant part of the problem is fishing nets, which account for about ten percent of all plastic waste found in the ocean.

Merten M-Pure Ocean Plastic combines modernity with sustainability. The main products in the switch series are made from plastic granulate, which consists of 50% recycled fishing nets. Other products in the same series are made of recycled plastic.

M-Pure Ocean Plastic contributes to the reduction of plastic waste, has received several awards and is available since September 2022.
