VBASE resource and energy monitoring
Permanently record, display and analyse the actual energy consumption. Energy and resource management offers great savings potential for companies. The basis for a successful implementation is the detailed recording of the actual consumption, an analysis of the savings potential as well as the permanent and complete monitoring of the energy consumption or the checking of compliance with limit values. Grown, heterogeneous building and plant structures usually present a great challenge, because the individual sub-areas are often managed by different, self-sufficient control systems. Due to the high degree of connectivity and the openness of the system, VBASE can automatically collect, analyze and visualize the data of different systems, trades and energy consumers. For the creation of meaningful key figures, the parallel acquisition of data that influence the consumption of resources is a good idea. If, for example, the consumption for heat generation in buildings is analysed, it is important to compare these consumption values with the values of the outside temperature. Rising energy and raw material costs, as well as the associated ecological aspects, are reason enough for many companies to optimize their processes with regard to energy and resource-saving procedures. Especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SME), appropriate monitoring cannot simply be implemented by additional personnel, for cost reasons alone. Here it is important to operate a monitoring system that covers as many processes as possible in a largely automated and thus very effective manner. With the help of common sensor technology and measuring methods, but also through interfaces to existing plant control systems, it is often very easy to determine the most important consumption parameters in real time with manageable effort. In such an environment, the VBASE automation software forms the platform for recording, storing and visualizing all information. On the basis of the key figures obtained in this way, the system can be expanded into a resource and energy controlling system. VBASE serves as the central communication and monitoring platform and performs its service discreetly as a "black box" in the background. If required, VBASE can also visualize all data locally in real-time and feed mobile devices (e.g. smart phone, tablet) with key figures as a web portal.
