Trade-fair: Indoor-Air

Fresh air needs fresh solutions

Clean and healthy indoor air is more important than ever in times of pandemics. Once in 2021, the Indoor-Air trade fair will address this topic for the German-speaking region.

February 2021

Aeorosols and the reduction of viruses in indoor air are an integral part of current discussions and daily media coverage. For this reason, building and system operators, planners and investors in particular are increasingly looking for technical solutions to improve indoor air quality. The interest and the necessity to sustainably upgrade existing systems and to include higher indoor air quality in new systems from the very beginning of planning processes are therefore correspondingly great.

Indoor-Air as a trade fair for ventilation and air quality will bring together suppliers and operators of the air-conditioning and ventilation industry in the German-speaking region once in 2021. The focus here is on the topic of "air as food" and the advantages of future-oriented system concepts in indoor air technology. The product groups at the trade fair – air-conditioning technology, ventilation technology, room-ventilation equipment and mobile air cleaners – offer innovative solutions here.

The demand for ventilation and air-conditioning solutions is increasing – especially for upgrading existing buildings!

Personal encounters at the workplace, in schools, in cultural institutions and in retail shall be secure again – with the risk of infection be minimised as far as possible. This is why the trade fair is also aimed at decision-makers in schools, public authorities, public buildings, trade, hotels and restaurants. They are interested in upgrading ventilation and air-conditioning systems in existing buildings. For the Corona-compliant retrofitting and upgrading of ventilation and air-conditioning systems in public buildings and spaces, the German government has currently launched a funding programme totalling 500 million euros.

The Indoor-Air, trade fair for ventilation and air quality, will take place once and physically from October 5 to 7, 2021 in Frankfurt am Main. It was planned at the special request of the industry with regard to the current pandemic situation and the associated high demands on air quality. The event is aimed at exhibitors and trade visitors from German-speaking countries.
