…born in 1957, is a leading figure in cleanroom technology with a background in mechanical engineering. After working as a construction design supervisor and project manager, he founded DITTEL Cleanroom Engineering in 1993 in Kochel am See, Upper Bavaria. The company specializes in designing, supervising, and qualifying turnkey cleanroom facilities for industries such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, medical engineering, and microelectronics, with clients across Europe, the USA, and Asia.
Dr. Dittel earned his doctorate at California State University & Institute, focusing on neuronal human implants. In 2020, after transitioning management of DITTEL Engineering to his son Florian, he assumed the role of President (Senior), continuing to provide strategic leadership for the company.
He is an active educator, lecturing on cleanroom technology at Carinthia University in Villach, Austria, and previously holding a professorship at Xian Jiaotong Technical University in China. Dr. Dittel also serves as President of the DRRI (German Institute of Cleanroom Technology) and the AIT (Adriatic Institute of Technology) and is a long-standing member of the German Expert Committee in Cleanroom Technology, managed by VDI.
